Title: How to Mobilize Your Home Business |

Description: A military spouse's career progression can come to a sudden halt because of their turbulent lifestyle. In some cases, a job outside of the home nets just about enough income to cover child care. And then, of course, is the fact that some parents would really prefer to be home with the children. Understanding the special needs of these military spouses spurred the Women's Business Border Center of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to launch a new program in 2007, "How to Mobilize Your Home Business". In coordination with Army Community Services, home based industries that present great opportunities for the "mobile" entrepreneur will be covered. Sessions are free to the public, and will include the basics on how to select a home based business, how to secure financing, and marketing. |
