View WBBC Programs
The Womens Business Border Center is a user-friendly resource
for women entrepreneurs. The WBBC is committed to inspiring and
empowering women who want to start or expand their business. All
services are provided in English and Spanish to serve the specific
needs of women business owners in the El Paso Border Region.
KEY SERVICES:
- Building awareness around business opportunities for women
and how the WBBC can help women take full advantage of these
opportunities.
- Providing bilingual technical assistance for all phases of
business 'start-up' including concept of business ideas, writing
and formalizing the business plan and implementation of the
business plan.
- Providing bilingual assistance for all phases of 'business
expansion' including ideas and planning, recognizing key elements
to watch, implementation of the expansion plan and monitoring
of future growth.
- Expanding outreach to women with our satellite office at
El Puente CDC, 2000 Texas Avenue, to encourage micro-enterprise
development for a population heavily affected by NAFTA.
