The Women’s Business Border Center (WBBC) established in 2001 is the first center to be co-located with a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in the United States. The Women’s Business Border Center in partially funded by the United States Small Business Administration's (SBA) Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO).
We serve individuals who want to start or expand their business and support these efforts with a user-friendly hands on process tied to technical support and outreach. We create opportunities for anyone who wants to access information, personal guidance, and insight into business-management skills. The WBBC's services include providing assistance and/or training in finance, management, marketing, procurement, e-Commerce and many other specialized topics.
The WBBC is one of three organizations that are approved as a Third Party Certifier for the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) Federal Contracting Program.
The Women's Business Border Center is the proud recipient of the 2014 District/Regional Women's Business Center of Excellence Award given by the Region VI U.S. Small Business Administration. The WBBC competed between nineteen different centers in five different states in the region.
